Synopsis
BAND OF SISTERS tells the unforgettable story of Catholic nuns in the US: how they responded whole heartedly to the call of Vatican II, risked everything in their unwavering commitment to social justice, and made a remarkable transformation from "daughters of the church" into citizens of the world. It couldn't be more timely, as they are currently confronted by the Vatican in a battle for control of their lives and work. The film was completed in May, 2012 and will premiere in September 2012.
