Miriam was an invited guest lecturer at the Iceland University of the Arts, where she spoke to students of Music Theory and Composition about writing music for film with a focus on documentary storytelling.

She spoke to a room full of excited students interested in filmmaking as the Reykjavik International Film Festival was also taking place while she was in town.
